Jesse Briggs

Jesse Briggs is an internationally renowned artist, educator, salon owner, lecturer, inventor, author, and haircolor expert who co-founded Haircolor USA, the world’s largest haircolor show. Known for his high-octane education and charismatic personality, he has taught standing-room-only crowds from Milan to New York to Los Angeles. Together with wife Flo Briggs, he has acted as a mentor to countless young stylists, colorists, and future salon owners.
Born in a small Texas town, Jesse leveraged his drive, creativity, and zest for life to take him from poverty to highly successful entrepreneur in short order. His love of the salon business allowed him to do it all, and to travel the globe in the process.
The international vision he developed in his travels allows him to communicate with people from all walks of life with ease and appreciate the energy and creativity of today’s hairdressers. His 360-degree business view also allowed him to develop a strong network of Yellow Strawberry Global Salons, with the 50-chair, multimillion-dollar flagship in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Briggs’ work and his words have appeared in dozens of international magazines, including Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, First for Women, Ladies’ Home Journal, Teen, People, and In-Style. Honored as one of the Top 75 Educators of the Century by Modern Salon magazine, Briggs is the author of The ABC of Hair Cutting and the founder of an advanced training academy in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
